Venus Legacy is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses a combination of multipolar radiofrequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields to treat a variety of body concerns. The treatment is FDA-approved for reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles and creases, as well as for lipolysis (fat melting) and cellulite reduction in any area of the body. Venus Legacy is a popular alternative to invasive procedures such as liposuction and can produce visible results after just a few treatments. The treatment works by stimulating collagen and elastin production, which can improve skin texture and tighten sagging skin. Venus Legacy is a highly customisable treatment that can be adjusted to target specific areas of the body, making it a versatile option for individuals looking to contour and sculpt their bodies without surgery.
As we age, our bodies produce less collagen (the protein that keeps skin firm, strong and supple) and we store more fat, so signs of ageing such as wrinkles and sagging become more pronounced.
To counteract these concerns, Venus Legacy is the first all-in-one medical non-surgical treatment. It uses patented (MP2) technology which utilises multipolar radiofrequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields that produce a gentle, therapeutic ‘heat matrix’ over the skin. This leads to trauma in the dermis or subcutaneous fat layer and a thermal reaction in the tissue, kick-starting the body’s natural healing response. This causes the skin to tighten and lipolysis to occur, achieving overall skin tightening and fat dispersal for the face and body.
Venus Legacy radiofrequency is used to treat loose and crepey skin, cellulite, mummy tummy and is also used for overall body contouring.
Following a detailed consultation, this treatment is suitable for all skin types.
Courses of 6–12 treatments are recommended depending on the desired outcome.
The Venus Legacy face and body treatments have no downtime. However, when radiofrequency is used for lipolysis (fat melting), some bruising can occur.
A detailed consultation will be carried out to assess suitability for treatment, but there are very few contraindications.
Depending on the area and indication, treatment times vary from 30 to 90 minutes.
Courses of 6–12 treatments are recommended depending on the desired outcome.
